Common questions and troubleshooting.
Find steps for adjusting a week, sharing or importing a plan, connecting Strava, and fixing common problems.
Adjust this week without losing the contract
- Open Week and tap Adjust week. The current week opens with its mileage contract and the planned work still visible.
- Select the workout’s original day.Long-press the workout and drag it down to Unscheduled. The complete session moves with it.
- Select the new day.Long-press the workout in Unscheduled and drag it up onto that day. Moving it changes the calendar, not the workout.
- Tap a workout when the session itself needs to change.Edit its distance, type, title, notes, warmup, repeats, recoveries, and targets.
- Check the week, then save. The contract summary shows the resulting mileage, quality, and long-run shape before anything changes.
Choose a starter in Due
- Open Plan.If you have no active plan, the starter shelf is already there. Otherwise open the plans library and choose Add.
- Pick a race distance.Choose 5K, 10K, half marathon, or marathon.
- Choose a goal time. The goal selects a calibrated plan shape and its workout paces. Marathon choices include 4:30 and currently extend from 2:45 through 5:00.
- Check the demand.Due shows the opening week, peak, and longest run before installation. Compare those numbers with the running you can already support.
- Choose your date.Start the full block on a Monday, or anchor it to a race date when the plan allows.
- Review and install.Read the weekly mileage shape and key sessions, then install the block.
Open a starter from this website
- Browse starter plans on your iPhone.Choose the block and tap Get this plan.
- Open the downloaded file.Find the
.duefile in Safari downloads or Files and tap it. - Review it in Due.Due opens directly to the plan review. Choose a date, check the block, and install.
Bring your own plan
You do not upload a PDF to Due. Your AI assistant turns the plan into Due’s portable format, and Due validates the result on your iPhone.
Copy the complete Due plan prompt
- In Due, open Plan → Your plan.Tap Copy the prompt. Copy all of it—the instructions are intentionally detailed.
- Paste the prompt into your AI assistant.Use ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Paste your existing plan below it, or answer the assistant’s questions if you need a plan built.
- Bring back the answer.Open or share the returned
.duefile into Due. You can also paste the returned text inside the import screen. - Review the whole block.Due checks the file, shows any questions or warnings, and asks for your start or race date before installation.
The AI returned plain text instead of a file
Copy the complete JSON response. In Due’s import screen, choose Paste it here, paste the text, and tap Import plan.
Due says the file cannot be read
Return to the same AI conversation with the error message and ask it to correct the .due file without changing your training plan. Then bring the corrected file back.
I am already partway through the plan
When you install the plan, choose the date you began training as its start date. Due aligns the plan’s weeks and your completed runs with the corresponding plan dates.
Connect Strava
Due asks for read access when you connect. Completed runs sync into the matching week. Posting Due’s week receipt back to a Strava activity is optional, off by default, and asks for write access separately.
- Open You → Strava.Choose Connect with Strava and approve activity read access.
- Return to Due.Your recent runs sync against the active plan.
- Pull down on Week to retry.A manual refresh performs a fuller check when an upload arrived late.
Troubleshooting
A run is missing
First confirm the activity is visible in Strava. Then open Week and pull down to refresh. If Strava is rate-limiting requests, Due shows when it can try again; runs already synced remain available.
The wrong week is open
Open the plans library, choose the active plan’s options, and move its start date. The whole block moves together; its workouts do not change weekdays.
I want to disconnect Strava
Open You → Strava and disconnect. Due asks Strava to revoke the connection and removes the stored tokens. If Strava reports that the grant is invalid, Due removes Strava-derived activity data.
I need more help
Email [email protected]. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, and the exact message Due showed. Please do not send Strava credentials.
